I have breakfast. I go to work. Añade la hora con at, y palabras como always, usually y never.

Muchas frases de la rutina son fijas. Decimos have breakfast, have lunch y have dinner, no eat ni make. Decimos go to work, go to school y go to bed, sin the. También decimos brush your teeth y get dressed.

Con he, she e it, el verbo termina en -s: she wakes up, he gets up. Los verbos que terminan en -sh, -ch u -o añaden -es: she brushes her teeth, he finishes work, my mother goes to work. Con I, you, we y they se usa el verbo base.

She gets dressed quickly, «ella se viste rápido». He walks to work slowly, «él camina despacio al trabajo».
